Built by peoplewho used to runthe tours.
Perigee began as one operator's answer to four spreadsheets and a shared inbox. It is still built the same way — close to the people doing the work, in the places where the work happens.

Rolling twelve-month average
Six years, one stubborn idea.
That the software a tour operator uses should read like a well-kept ledger, and should never be the hardest part of the day.
A tour operator gets tired of spreadsheets
Samuel was running safaris out of Nairobi on four spreadsheets and a shared inbox. The first version of Perigee was built to replace exactly that.
Mobile money, properly
Guests wanted to pay the way they already paid. Card-only checkout was costing bookings, so mobile money became a first-class option rather than an add-on.
Across the continent
Operators in twenty-five countries, quoting in thirty-one currencies, with the seasons and regulations that go with each of them.
Still shaped in the field
Product decisions are still made next to someone's booking calendar, which is why the workspace reads the way it does.
Five commitments we are willing to be judged on.
Not a poster in a stairwell. These are the arguments we have internally when a decision is close.
Build for the work, not the demo
Every feature starts with a real operator describing a real afternoon. If it does not survive a high season, it does not ship.
Your success is the metric
We measure ourselves on whether your bookings get easier, not on how long you spend inside the product.
Guard the records
Your data and your guests' details are protected with encryption, audit logs and access control that a procurement team can read.
Fast enough to trust
The workspace stays quick on a patchy connection in the field, because that is where most of the work actually happens.
Responsible travel, properly tracked
Protecting Africa's wildlife, landscapes and communities is a claim worth evidence. We built the record-keeping for it.
A small team, reachable on a first name.
Thirty-one people in Nairobi and remote across the region. These four are the ones you are most likely to hear from.
Samuel Nyaga
Founder & Chief Executive
A tour operator for fifteen years before this. Most of the product's opinions started as his complaints.
Grace Wanjiku
Head of Product
Travel technology and interface design. Spends a week a season in the field with operators.
David Kiprotich
Chief Technology Officer
Scalable platforms and African payment rails. Responsible for the parts that must not fail.
Mary Akinyi
Head of Customer Success
Takes every migration personally. Has moved more spreadsheets than she will admit to.
Tourism is one of the continent's largest employers.
The businesses that make it work are mostly small — three to thirty people, running on relationships, local knowledge and an enormous amount of unrecorded effort. Almost none of the software written for the travel industry was written for them.
That is the gap we work in. Not a booking engine for a multinational, and not a generic CRM with a travel label on it, but the operational record a working tour business actually keeps: who is going where, what it costs, who has paid, what they asked for last time.
Get that right and the rest of the job gets easier — better margins, repeat guests, and a business that can be handed to somebody else without a week of explanation.
