What does it cost to use Perigee?
The Independent plan is free — no setup fee and no monthly fee. The only charge is a 10% platform fee on payments we process for you. If you want to lift the limits, the Business plan is a one-time setup fee, paid once, with no subscription afterwards.
How does the 10% platform fee work?
When a traveller pays for a booking through Perigee, we take 10% of that payment and the rest settles directly to your own bank account. You never invoice us and we never hold your money — the split happens at settlement. The fee applies to marketplace bookings and payment links you send. Cash and offline bookings you record yourself are tracked in the dashboard but carry no fee, because we did not process that money.
Is there a free trial?
There is nothing to trial, because the free plan is not time-limited. Start on Independent and stay there as long as it suits you. If you later pay the setup fee, that is a one-time payment rather than the start of a subscription.
Do I need to pay to take payments or list on the marketplace?
No. Marketplace listing, online payments, payouts and payment links are all included on the free plan. The setup fee buys headroom — more tours, more bookings, team members, the API, your own domain and branding — never access to getting paid.
How and when do I get paid?
Payments settle directly from Paystack to the bank account you connect, on Paystack's normal settlement schedule. You will need to add your bank details before your tours can go live on the marketplace, so there is somewhere for the money to go.
What currency do you work in?
We charge in KES and settle to local bank accounts. Travellers from overseas can see prices converted for reference, but the payment itself is taken in your currency.
What payment methods can my customers use?
Card, mobile money including M-Pesa, and bank transfer, through Paystack. Your customers choose at checkout.
What happens if I need to refund a booking?
You can request a refund from the booking in your dashboard. We return our share of the platform fee in proportion to what you refund, so you are not charged a fee on money the traveller got back.
